Josh Self, CLU, ChFC, CFP®
Managing Partner
Josh has worked in financial services since his first internship with a broker/dealer in New York City during the summer of 1999. He handles much of the day-to-day duties of managing Ridgeline Wealth, and all aspects of our relationships with clients, from planning to investments to communication.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000 with a degree in Business Administration (with a focus in Finance), Josh became an advisor as a means to help people. He saw it as an opportunity to serve and felt that an advisor is given space in clients’ lives that few others are given. Josh strives to be a catalyst, to illuminate the path to freedom from fear, and offer solutions to misconceptions around money matters through planning that truly harnesses wealth. Josh loves to help clients align money with values. He has seen it over and over again as clients choose to live their best lives now and not at some vague point in the future. Josh empowers clients to achieve their goals while still living open handedly and generously. He maintains a genuine care and concern for each of his clients and works tirelessly to make his clients’ lives better.
Josh and his beautiful wife, Megan are joyously raising four energetic kids. In his spare time (usually early mornings or late at night) he enjoys reading and training for endurance events. He has proudly competed in numerous endurance trail runs and triathlons of varying lengths, including an Ironman 70.3 race – a single day 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike and 13.1-mile run.
